Crème Caramel or Leche Flan as what we call it here in the Philippines is my all time favorite dessert. With the thick texture and sweetness that melts in your mouth. So yummy! Who wouldn’t like to have a slice of this mouth watering treat?
Well, so far the best Leche Flan that I have tasted is in Project 6, Q.C. the name of the store is San Diego. Originally, they sell eggs and some vegetables. But as time passed by, they started to sell Leche Flan. People do go to this house to buy not just eggs but Leche Flan as well. I tried to ask for the recipe of the special Leche Flan but as what the old lady said, “It is a secret.” I tried to buy last year, but they’re not selling any Leche Flans anymore.
Recently, my partner and I went out to have dinner. We went to Chick Boy in Molito, near Alabang Town Center and there, I saw on their menu that they sell Leche Flan. For P35 you can have a slice of their delicious Leche Flan. And I’m craving for more.
So here is the basic recipe for Leche Flan or Crème Caramel. I made a research and got this recipe from filipinofoodrecipes.net.
